Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wissota Brass, a division of ECO Group, Inc., handles information connected with its website, brass sales, customer-supplied processing, used-equipment inquiries and communications.
Information We Collect
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, telephone number, address, caliber and processing requirements, requested quantities, shipment details, order history and correspondence. You may also provide photographs or details about an order issue.
Website and service providers may collect technical and usage information, including IP address, browser or device information, visited pages and online identifiers. The types collected depend on the technologies and services operating when you visit.
Quotes, Payments & Browser Storage
The current catalog creates quote requests rather than taking payment directly. Do not put card numbers, banking credentials or other sensitive payment details in our inquiry form or email. Payment details are handled through the payment method or provider confirmed with your order; we may receive billing details, payment status and transaction records needed to fulfill and account for the order.
Our inquiry cart stores selected items in your browser’s local storage. The age check uses browser session storage and a session cookie to remember your answer; it does not collect your date of birth. Browser storage is not a customer account or proof of identity. Clearing cookies or site data may remove saved cart items or age-check preferences.
How We Use Information
We use information to answer questions, prepare quotes, confirm specifications, provide services, arrange payment and shipping, handle product concerns, keep business records, maintain the website and protect against fraud or misuse. Marketing communications are handled subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Service Providers & Disclosures
We use providers for website hosting and delivery, forms and customer communications, customer relationship management, payment processing and shipping. These providers may receive information needed to perform their services. We may also disclose information as required by law, to protect legal rights or in connection with a lawful business transfer.
Website analytics, visitor-identification and marketing technologies may collect identifiers and usage information and disclose them to the providers or partners operating those technologies. The handling of this information may also be governed by those providers’ notices and applicable privacy law.
Third-Party & Affiliate Links
Our equipment and affiliate pages link to manufacturers, sellers and social platforms. Following those links or using third-party payment services takes you to services with their own privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information.
Your Choices & Requests
You can control or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage may affect the cart or age check. You may opt out of promotional email using an available unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Service-related messages about quotes, orders or shipments may continue.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of information, or to opt out of certain advertising, sale or sharing practices as those terms are defined by law. Contact us to make a request or ask about available choices. We may need to verify your identity, and legal or recordkeeping requirements may limit a request. We will handle requests as required by applicable law.
Security, Retention & Processing Locations
We use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee perfect security. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill requests and orders, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We operate in the United States; providers may process information in other locations under their applicable service arrangements.
Age & Children’s Information
Wissota Brass’s ordering services are intended for adults age 18 or older, or the higher age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian may contact us about information a child has provided.
Policy Updates & Concerns
We may revise this policy as our practices or services change. The revised policy will identify its update date, and we will provide any additional notice required by law. Contact us with privacy questions or concerns.
