Applications include TPO, EPDM and PVC. The existing membrane must be assessed for condition, adhesion and compatibility.

Built-up and modified-bitumen roofs may require substrate-specific preparation and primer to support adhesion and control bleed-through.

Foam roof systems can use a fluid-applied protective membrane when the existing system is suitable and preparation follows the applicable specification.

Manufacturer specifications also address concrete roofs. Surface condition, moisture and repairs must be evaluated before selecting a system.
Extensive trapped moisture, structural problems or a severely deteriorated roof can require substantial repairs or replacement instead of restoration.
