VEM Service Guide & Terms

Understanding your Virtual Energy Management service
ECO Energy is a service of ECO Group, Inc. This guide describes how we approach VEM and what to confirm before service begins. Your signed project documents establish the binding terms; this page does not create a subscription or a savings guarantee.
1. Service scope
VEM supports energy-data analysis and practical recommendations. Your proposal identifies the facilities, assets, reporting schedule, support and any site work included. Hardware, installation, software access and ongoing analysis may be separate items.
2. Working together
Your organization supplies accurate utility and facility information, appropriate site access and a knowledgeable contact. You review recommendations with qualified personnel and authorize suitable changes. Tell us when schedules, equipment or building use change.
3. Data and technology
Project documents should specify data access, permitted uses, confidentiality, security responsibilities and retention. Best.Energy platform and software rights remain with the applicable rights holders. Supplier terms apply where incorporated into your agreement.
4. Recommendations and results
Reports identify potential improvements from available information. Implementation and measured savings are distinct. Any guarantee must identify its provider, calculation method, exclusions and claim procedure in a signed agreement.
5. Commercial terms
Your signed agreement specifies fees, payment dates, duration, cancellation, liability and dispute arrangements. Ending VEM does not automatically cancel a separate equipment purchase, lease or finance agreement.
Before you begin
Ask ECO Energy for a complete proposal and applicable supplier documents. Commercial and legal terms must be reviewed and finalized for your project before acceptance.
Best.Energy manufacturer reference terms ↗ — supplied separately for transparency; their UK provider, guarantees and jurisdiction are not automatically ECO Energy commitments.
